Key takeaways
- Packages bundle your room with rounds; the Four Seasons offer includes two rounds with a 4-night stay on selected dates through Dec 2027.
- Resort rates are often 25–50% lower in the May–November low season, but August to October is peak hurricane risk.
- Prices shown are advertised starting rates, not quotes: always confirm.
A stay-and-play package bundles your room with rounds of golf, often adding breakfast, a rental car, a spa credit or range balls. In Puerto Rico most of the best courses belong to a resort, so packages are the simplest way to get tee times, and often the cheapest. The offers below were listed by the resorts or their booking partners when we reviewed them (September 2026); packages, dates and prices change constantly, so always confirm before you book.

How to choose a package
- Luxury, few rounds: the Four Seasons at Bahía Beach and Dorado Beach bundle the most prestigious courses with five-star rooms.
- Groups and families: Wyndham Grand Rio Mar puts 36 holes, a beach, a casino and a water park in one property, and Grand Reserve and Bahía Beach are minutes away.
- Value: Hilton Ponce with Costa Caribe, or El Legado’s on-site villas near Guayama.
- Something different: Royal Isabela offers casitas and access to its private clifftop links; you must stay to play.
Seven ways to save on Puerto Rico golf
- Travel in the shoulder season. Mid-April to June is warm, mostly dry and cheaper; resort rates are often 25–50% lower from May to November, although August to October is peak hurricane risk. See our best time to golf guide.
- Play twilight. Many resorts discount after mid-afternoon. At TPC Dorado Beach, twilight rates have been reported near $125 (East) and $60 (Sugarcane) versus listed regular rates of about $292 and $150, but access there is mainly for resort guests.
- Mix premium and value rounds. Pair one bucket-list round with budget courses such as Punta Borinquen or El Legado.
- Ask about replay rates. Rio Mar has been reported with a replay rate of about $45.
- Book direct and compare. Resort sites, Troon and tee-time marketplaces price the same round differently.
- Stay a few minutes away. Non-resort hotels near the Río Grande and Dorado corridors can be cheaper, though resort guests get priority tee times.
- Bundle the rental car. Several packages include one; you will need it to see more than one region.
